GUD Holdings Rebrands to Amotiv

GUD Holdings will change its name following a successful vote by shareholders at yesterday's (June 24th) EGM.   

Chairman of the Board Mr Graeme Billings said that “GUD is at an important inflection point having operated as a diversified industry portfolio we are now an Automotive pureplay. We are delighted to announce a bold leap forward—the renaming of our company.  From June 25, 2024, our group of businesses will be known as Amotiv”. 

Commenting on the name change Managing Director & Chief Executive Mr Graeme Whickman said that “Our evolution to being Amotiv (pronounced ‘Amo-tiv’) is purposeful and reflective, symbolizing a crucial milestone in our journey as a pure play automotive enterprise.  

This rebranding resonates perfectly with our future vision, especially as we project our aspirations towards 2030. It is reflective of our position as leaders within the automotive industry, ready to embrace change, spur innovation, and drive growth.  The name, Amotiv, symbolising our dedication to the automotive sector and our ambition to be at the forefront of industry innovation”.   

The Amotiv business is comprised of three operating Divisions; Lighting, Power & Electrical, 4WD Accessories &Trailering and Powertrain & Undercar.   

In conjunction with this rebranding, the company's ASX ticker code will change from GUD to AOV (as of June 27th).
