    Mr Whickman is an accomplished executive and automotive industry leader with more than 25 years of international experience spanning Australia, New Zealand, Canada, China, ASEAN and the UK.

    At Amotiv, Mr Whickman leads a portfolio of respected brands that support the independent aftermarket across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. He has played a key role in positioning Amotiv for long-term growth in a rapidly evolving automotive landscape.

    Prior to Amotiv, Mr Whickman spent 19 years with Ford Motor Company, where he held a series of senior leadership positions, including President & CEO of Ford Australia and New Zealand. He also served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales in both Canada and Australia, and as Executive Director of Marketing for the Asia Pacific and Africa region. His career at Ford included board appointments with Ford of Canada and Ford Credit Canada.

    Mr Whickman contributes actively to the broader automotive sector. He was previously a board member of the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) and currently sits on the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) Board, reflecting his deep commitment to advancing the industry through collaboration and advocacy.

    He holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Auckland University of Technology.

    Mr Canning has over 25 years of experience in senior financial roles across various industries including consumer products, property, retail and education. 

    Prior to Amotiv, Mr Canning held Group Chief Operating Officer and Group CFO roles at Greenlit Brands and Blackmores and senior finance roles at Goodman Fielder, Westfield and Diageo. He has strong mergers and acquisitions and stakeholder and profit accountability experience obtained through leadership positions in ASX-listed and multinational organisations.

    Barbara has over 20 years’ experience leading people, culture, and safety teams. Barbara’s career spans leadership roles in automotive, infrastructure and industrial environments in New Zealand and Australia. Barbara is a graduate of Wharton Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

    Anne has spent 16 years in general counsel and company secretary roles within the Wesfarmers Group (Bunnings) and at Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Limited. Before that, she was a Partner in the corporate and mergers and acquisitions area at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst) and a non-executive director of Amaze, Inc.

    Mr Cecil has over 25 years of diverse experience leading strategy, transformation, and operations teams, both in-house and in a consulting context.  He was a Partner at Deloitte Australia leading a portfolio of roles across strategy and transformation, sustainability and climate consulting. 

    Mr Cecil has over the course of his career also lived in New York, working for McKinsey & Company, advising in transformation, strategy and M&A. In Australia, he was the GM international at SEEK Ltd leading the growth strategy beyond its Australian borders and was Group General Manager leading operational transformation for ANZ Ltd.  David has a deep understanding of the drivers of strategic value and frameworks used by corporates and private equity in mergers and acquisitions.
